I took four days off work for an extended long weekend. However it was anything but pleasure with each day being used to unpack our boxes and give the house a first clean up.
The builder has pretty much completed everything that needs to be done. We are still waiting on a few fly screens, however we can live in a house without a full compliment of fly screens.
The first night was great. With roller shutters on most of our windows it was so quiet at night and nice and dark in the morning. The cold days were overcome by the new Air Con, so overall the new place is very comfortable!
The bad news is we aren’t done yet! We haven’t started on the outside of the house. Internally it might look good, but outside it is a sand pit!
